Beyonce normally doesn’t spend time responding to haters, but she was quick to write a song for a fan that snatched her wig. Literally.
While in Montreal Monday night on her Mrs. Carter World Tour, Bey’s tresses got tangled up in one of the many wind machines that line the stage. The star’s luscious blonde weave was no match for the fan but, like a true superstar, Beyoncé just kept on singing while her bodyguard Julius attempted to free her.
Thankfully she wasn’t hurt — well, maybe just her pride was. However, the 31-year-old star proved that she can laugh at herself by sharing a fan’s video of the mishap on her Instagram account. She also went a step further and snapped a photo of a note with rewritten lyrics to “Halo” that reflected the hair-snatching snafu: “I felt my hair was yankiiiiiiin, from the fan that’s always hatiiiiiin.”
