CRACKDOWN ON TEENS AT INDY MALLS

Metro police met with Simon Mall officials last night to devise a plan to combat mall violence among Indianapolis teens.

Mall officials tell police they plan break up crowds that might be looking for trouble.

This code of conduct is not new, but mall security will begin to enforce the rules more strictly… And Parents you’ll be involved too.

If Mall security sees you dropping your kids off, They’ll hand you a letter that says what will happen you to and your teen, if they cause trouble.

 

MAN DIES AFTER SHOOTING

One person has died after being shot in an apartment complex on the city’s northwest side.

It happened last night at The Creekside Square Apartments, where

Police say when they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

That man was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in serious condition, where he later died.

The man’s identity is still unknown.

The Columbus Teen who was hit by a car on his way to school Monday morning, has been upgraded from critical to good condition.

Jalen Lee was the second Columbus-area student to be hit at the crossing in three years.  Now, the city, and the school are stepping up to make it safer.

Columbus Police said it was still dark, and the teen walked right into oncoming traffic.  The driver, who hit him was not cited, said he could not stop in time.

 

TINDER BOX TO ADD INDIANAPOLIS JOBS

New Jobs are coming to Indianapolis after Software marketer TinderBox Inc. announced they  will add up to 95 jobs at its Indy office by 2016.

The said it’s hiring sales-people, client support personnel, as well as software and product developers.

Company President Dustin Sapp says it was an easy decision with Indy’s growing high-tech sector and stable business climate.

 

NO CLASS AFTER SCHOOL FIRE

Classes are cancelled this Morning at Mooresville High School, after a fire broke out in a second floor bathroom.

The Mooresville High and the connected Middle School, were released early yesterday, following the fire.

The middle school is back open, but the High School will remain closed This Morning due to smoke damage.

Athourities are still trying to find the cause of that fire.

Again. Moorseville High School Only classes cancelled today.
