The 16th Annual Black Film Festival will honor Think Like a Man, the year’s biggest Black film thus far, according to EURweb.

The film’s producer, Will Packer, his business partner Rob Hardy, and director Tim Story, will be on hand for an open and candid conversation about how the film came together, its success and impact on the entertainment industry.

The conversation will also highlight specific aspects of the film’s success, from its production and marketing campaign to its strong social media strategy. Members of the cast will also be on site to join to the conversation.

Currently hovering over the $100M mark at the box office, Think Like a Man, based on Steve Harvey’s bestselling relationship book Think Like a Man, Act Like a Lady, opened on April 20 to tune of $33.6M. It instantly became Screen Gems’ biggest opener targeting Black audiences.

With the success of the film still fresh on Hollywood’s mind, do you think more all-star Black films are coming?
