In the height of early proceedings from the Dr. Conrad Murray trial, fans and fanatics plus an all-star cast of celebrities, entertainers and performers staged the highly publicized “Michael Jackson Forever” tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday.

However, a well-sought after, but extremely high-priced ticket might have been what kept the show at the Millennium Stadium this weekend from selling out it’s 50,000-seat capacity. Selling just 10,000 tickets short of it’s packed house goal, the show still went off without a hitch.

The late King of Pop’s family including brothers Tito, Marlon, Jackie, sister LaToya and his mother Katherine were all confirmed for attendance, but Randy, Jermaine and sister Janet each declined weeks prior to the event stating they’d be going to the trial because of it’s equal importance in finally letting Michael Jackson lay to rest.

At the show, even Michael’s children Paris, Prince and Blanket were there to pay homage to their deceased and globally respected father – a performer and entertainment sensation who was taken from us far too soon.

Would you have gone to the show had you received a ticket? Or would you have been more concerned with the trial as well?
