What Has Brought On Such A Change In Our Children?

The other day I got into a discussion about the state of the youth in the community, and how we seem to be failing them. The person I was having the discussion with took the stance that the youth today are out of control! They don’t have any self worth, respect for themselves or others, and they seem to being running they’re households, deciding what they eat, what time they go to bed, and overall do what the heck they want to do.
I poised a question in the discussion that prompted me to ask you what you think. What in our community has changed more than anything else that has brought on such a change in our children?
