Inspired by the recent protests against racism at the University of Missouri, scores of students at Ithaca College in New York decided to stage a walkout Wednesday demanding that the institution’s president, Tom Rochon, step down.

Among the honorees were Misty Copeland, Caitlyn Jenner, the U.S women's soccer team, family members and survivors of the Charleston Massacre, Reese Witherspoon, Victoria Beckham, Elizabeth Holmes and Cecile Richards.

"These women are teaching the world by example the healing strength of peace and unity" said Glamour of the Charleston, South Carolina survivors.
