The Fix: Mariah claps back, Meagan’s New Movie, Indy Legends
Mariah Carey reminded everyone she’s not the one to play with. After a now-deleted track surfaced sampling her classic Shake It Off, the other artist tried to troll Mariah online, saying she had 24 hours to respond. Well, Mariah did respond—by telling them they had 24 hours to contact her lawyers. She even posted the legal notice on Twitter for the world to see. Fans are living for the clapback because Mariah is always going to protect her music, her name, and her coin.
Meagan Good? She’s booked, busy, and thriving. She and Jonathan Majors just launched Honor Culture—a wellness brand about health, healing, and that glow-up. And she’s not stopping there. She’s back on TV August 16 at 8 p.m., starring and executive producing I’ll Never Let You Go on Lifetime. Expect drama, danger, and Meagan delivering at her best.
And as Indy gets ready for WNBA All-Star Weekend, the city’s celebrating our basketball queens with the Legends Game on July 19 at the Convention Center. It’s a moment to give flowers to icons like Bria Goss, Sarah Nord, and Katie Gearlds—women who built Indiana’s legacy in hoops and are still inspiring the next generation.
That’s The Fix—I’m Karen Vaughn.
