President Obama Joins The WWE Stars Honoring The Troops.

President Barack Obama will join pro wrestlers this weekend in honoring America’s men and women in uniform.

       The commander-in-chief has taped a special holiday message that will play during World Wrestling Entertainment’s “WWE Tribute to the Troops” special airing 9 p.m. EST Saturday on NBC.

       The program chronicles a Mideast trip by WWE wrestlers that included base visits and a performance for the troops. Along with the taped remarks from the president, Gen. David Petraeus also delivers holiday wishes.

       The NBC special marks the WWE’s seventh annual Mideast trip.
