1 Dead, 1 Injured in Fort Wayne Crash Involving Suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — A man crashed into two vehicles, which killed one person and injured another in Allen County.

Indiana State Police say 24-year-old Tyler Alberding ran from them after they tried to pull him over, which happened Monday afternoon before 1:30.

Officers say Alberding was driving north on North Clinton Street when he crashed into a car and truck near the Wallen Road intersection. 93-year-old Carolyn Hutchinson was taken to a hospital, but she did not survive. 80-year-old Larry Zant is in serious condition after Alberding crashed into his vehicle.

Alberding faces several criminal charges, including those related to the crash and dealing drugs.

Indiana State Police say the crash is still being looked into.
