Disney Pushes Back Release Dates For ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ & ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’
Marvel has delayed the premieres of the next two AVENGERS movies, pushing back AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY to Dec. 18, 2026, and AVENGERS: SECRET WARS to Dec. 17, 2027. The scheduling change is attributed to the large-scale productions requiring more time to execute the vision. The films will feature a star-studded cast including returning Marvel actors and new favorites, with Robert Downey Jr. playing the villain Doctor Doom. The shift in release dates also involves reorganizing the Marvel calendar and potentially focusing on quality over quantity in future projects.
