An Alcohol Pill? Are You Kidding Me?

A Russian professor (Evgeny Moskalev) of Saint Petersburg Technological University has created a pill targeted at lazy alcohol lovers all over the world which would take the poison of your choice and turn it to a powder to be packed into a pill. There’s a statement saying that consumers could simply wrap them in plastic and then carry them around in a bag or their pocket. Are you serious? I hope I’m not the only one with red flags going up here, but alcohol concentrated pills that you carry around wrapped in plastic in your pocket sounds super sketchy and kind of illegal. I’m pretty sure that we’re still in a roofie epidemic. The point of putting booze in a poppable form – aside from just for the hell of it – is meant to allow the user to control their portions better. While that does seem like it could work to an extent, it’s also easier to down a bottle of pills than a bottle of alcohol itself. I’d love to try one though…
