Rapper and Singer Eve Joins NYU’s School Of Culture
Rapper Eve is stepping into a whole new spotlight—this time in the halls of academia! The Grammy-winning artist just announced that she’s taking on the role of the 2024-25 Scholar-in-Residence at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. While Eve is best known for her iconic rap career and hits like “Let Me Blow Ya Mind,” she’s ready to show the world another side of herself. Her year-long residency kicks off on September 21, and fans are already buzzing about what’s to come.
Eve says she’s looking forward to connecting with the NYU community and sharing more about her journey beyond the music industry. “I want people to understand who I am as a person outside of music,” she shared. And let’s be honest—who wouldn’t want to learn from someone who’s been a trailblazer in both music and entertainment?
This move to NYU is just the latest chapter in Eve’s ever-evolving career. From rapper to actress to talk show host and now scholar, she continues to break new ground and inspire others to do the same. And while she’ll be spending plenty of time in the classroom, don’t be surprised if she drops a few bars of wisdom along the way.
