Democratic presidential hopeful Cory Booker is rolling out a marijuana bill. The New Jersey senator introduced legislation Thursday to legalize pot nationwide. Fellow 2020 contenders Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Kirsten Gillibrand are among the senators co-sponsoring the Marijuana Justice Act. Booker’s bill would remove cannabis from the federal list of controlled substances and provide financial incentives for states to relax their marijuana laws. Ten states and Washington, DC have already legalized recreational marijuana.
