Trump And Dems Blame Each Other For Shutdown

President Trump and Democrats are blaming each other for the government shutdown that rolls on now with no end in sight.  In a joint statement, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Democrats offered multiple proposals to keep the government open and President Trump chose to throw a temper tantrum instead of honoring his responsibility to the American people.  The president is so far refusing to budge on his demand for five billion dollars in funding for a border wall.  With that failing to happen, he says “The Democrats now own the shutdown!”

All of this, ‘winning’ makes one feel blameless I guess…
