Former Vice President Al Gore says the Trump Administration tried to bury a government report on global warming and natural disasters by quietly releasing it on Black Friday.  Gore said on Twitter Friday that the President was attempting to “hide the truth” by sending out the “critical U.S. assessment of the climate crisis” on the start of the year’s holiday shopping season.  The latest National Climate Assessment found that continued climate change may negatively impact the economy as well as the “natural systems that support us.”  Gore has previously been criticized for what some see as his lavish lifestyle and “elitism” despite being one of the most prominent climate advocates.
