Rihanna released her music video for “Sledgehammer” today. It is part of the Star Trek Beyond soundtrack and is the first video made with IMAX cameras. Rihanna also talked about how she’s actually been a fan of Star Trek since childhood.
Last years Oscars were surrounded by controversy and even started trending on twitter with #OscarsSoWhite. They have invited actors like Idris Elba and Michael B. Jordan to be members in most diverse class in Academy history. Over 40% are people of color and close to 50% are female in the new class.
