Actress Angela Bassett is teaming up with Dr. Barbara Strum and others to create a new skin care line. The product is designed specifically for women of darker complexions. Bassett added “I like them to be pleased when they look in the mirror, to feel good about themselves and the condition of their complexion.”

The BET Awards are going down this Sunday night and the show is building up the hype. In addition to Sheila E., D’angelo, Janelle Monae, & The Roots, BET has added Stevie Wonder to their Prince Tribute. The show also plans to do a tribute for Muhammad Ali. Some other honorees will be Samuel L. Jackson and Jesse Williams as they will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Humanitarian award respectably. The show hosted by “Blackish” stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross starts at 8 and Usher, Alicia Keys, and Maxwell will be performing as well.

Hillary Clinton will be coming to Indianapolis this Sunday. This will be her first visit since earning the Democratic nomination. She is set to give a speech at the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Clinton loss the primary to Bernie Sanders in May. However, Sanders said he would vote for Clinton but hasn’t yet gave her an endorsement.
