The trial for a former IPS counselor accused of having sex with students is being delayed. Shana Taylor was charged in February with child seduction. Taylor’s trial was supposed to start today, but it was moved to July 5 after her attorney asked for a new date, citing outstanding evidence.

Former Park Tudor basketball coach Kyle Cox will be sentenced on July 14. Cox pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to charges of coercion and enticement for sharing explicit messages with a 15-year-old student. As part of his plea deal, prosecutors agreed to ask for no more than 14 years in prison. Cox agreed to ask for no less than a ten-year sentence.

One of the people charged with reviewing Indiana’s standardized test says the ISTEP’s first problem is that it’s too long. Nicole Fama says the test is just too much for some kids. Governor Pence appointed her to review the problem-plagued ISTEP and start to think about a replacement. Fama says her focus is the kids and a workable test, not the politics that surround the ISTEP at the statehouse.

Supermarkets, including Kroger and Market District Stores both located here in Indy and across the state, are adding more products to their frozen food recall lists due to possible listeria contamination. Click HERE for the story.

Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are celebrating after picking up wins in Tuesday’s presidential primaries. Republican Trump took West Virginia and Nebraska. Democrat Sanders claimed a win in the double-digits over rival and still the delegate front-runner Hillary Clinton in the Mountain State. Sanders already won Nebraska’s Democrat Caucus back in March.

About half of the people who voted for the Vermont Senator, Sanders, in the West Virginia primary say they’d vote for GOP Presumptive Presidential Nominee Trump in the general election before they’d vote for Clinton. They are not planning to follow the popular Democratic mantra, “Blue no matter Who.”

A doctor who saw Prince the day before the artist died has abruptly left the clinic where he practiced. TMZ reports there is no word on why Dr. Michael Schulenberg stopped practicing at a clinic just miles from Prince’s estate. Schulenberg saw Prince on April 7 and again on the 20. He was also at the music legend’s Paisley Park estate when the artist died on April 21. Investigators got a warrant to seize Schulenberg’s medical records.

Black female cadets at West Point

A group of black women cadets at West Point didn’t break any rules when they posed for a photo raising clenched fists. You may have seen the photo fly pass on your social media feed. The 16 cadets posed in their dress uniforms for a traditional photo in front of the academy’s oldest barracks. An investigation concludes it was intended to demonstrate unity and pride, not a political statement about the Black Lives Matter movement.

In other recall news, check your child’s shoe collection. Payless ShoeSource says it’s pulling a brand of light-up shoes for kids following an accident in the Houston area that burned the back seat of an SUV. A couple told KPRC-TV that their two-year-old son had left his Jake and the Neverland Pirates Lighted Runner light-up shoes in the vehicle on Friday. The next morning the vehicle’s back seat was charred and the shoes destroyed.  The family blames a small lithium battery in one of the shoes. Lithium batteries have been in the headlines lately for causing fires in multiple devices such as two-wheeled hoverboards.

IMPD commanders say any deal that seems too good to be true, very likely is. StubHub says tickets for this historic 100th running of the Indy 500 are selling for hundreds or thousands of dollars online.
