Indiana State Police have responded to a deadly double-shooting at the Cummins Engine Plant in Seymour, Indiana on this busy Thursday morning. It appears to be a murder-suicide, according to various reports, at the 800 E. Third Street plant location where an employee entered and killed their boss. Police remain on the scene at this hour and a full investigation is underway. This is a developing story. In the meanwhile, Governor Mike Pence reacted to this deadly incident at one of the state’s major employers.
In a statement, Governor Pence said:
“Our hearts go out to the family of the victim of this senseless act of violence at the Cummins plant in Seymour earlier today. We commend local law enforcement for their swift response to this incident and will provide any and all support from Indiana State Police in the investigation.”
