Breaking story earlier today that a cheetah escaped from the Indianapolis Zoo, but according to The Indianapolis Star, that is not the case as Justin Mack reports.

“Officials said the cheetah left the holding area and a Code Red was issued at the zoo, meaning all guests had to remain inside. The lockdown was in place from about 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Zoo spokeswoman Judy Palermo said all zoo guests and staff members are safe. She added that all the cheetahs are safe and in a holding area. The cheetah never left zoo grounds.”
