The six Baltimore police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray posted bond on Friday night, reports The Baltimore Sun.

The six who have been charged are Officer Caesar R. Goodson Jr., 45; Officer William G. Porter, 25; Lt. Brian W. Rice, 41; Sgt. Alicia D. White, 30; Officer Edward M. Nero, 29; and Officer Garrett E. Miller, 26.

Bail for all six, including Goodson, the officer charged with second degree murder, ranges between $250,000 and $350,000, significantly lower than the $500,000 bail set for 18-year-old Allen Bullock, who was photographed smashing a cop car window and who willingly turned himself in. For many it is yet another clear indication of the favored treatment of law enforcement within the U.S. criminal justice system.

In related news, the Baltimore Police Union tried – and epically failed – to start a GoFundMe campaign for the officers, who are suspended without pay.

The campaign was taken down within 40 minutes, because it apparently violated the terms of the fundraising site, possible because the campaign was  “in defense of formal charges or claims of heinous crimes, violent, hateful, sexual or discriminatory acts.”

Gawker reports that the now defunct site initially read:

The Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #3 has been overwhelmed with the enormous generosity of people from around the world. We have received many requests to open an online account that will accept monetary donations for the 6 officers who have been wrongly charged in the death of Freddie Gray. All monies collected will be used to assist our officers with their living expenses during their unpaid suspension. as well as to help defray their legal expenses. We thank you, in advance, for your continued support.

The site only raised a measly $425 in the 40 minutes it was live.

The Sun reports that the officers charged in Gray’s death each face multiple charges, with the highest charge being second-degree depraved heart murder, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison. All six are charged with second-degree assault, a misdemeanor that carries a maximum penalty of 10 years.

The officers are set to have a preliminary hearing together on May 27 in Baltimore District Court.
