Tupac Shakur Performance At The Palladium NYC

Director John Singleton isn’t ready to comment about the status of a Tupac biopic he’s attached to. While serving on a panel in celebration of the Grammy Museum’s Tupac-themed exhibit, “All Eyex on Me,” when he said he preferred to “dodge” a question about when the film might get going. According to “Billboard,” he explained that getting the film off the ground has been slow because he wants to make sure it’s an accurate reflection of Pac’s life. He adds that the film “has to be as bold as (Tupac).” Singleton also joked that if the film isn’t a fitting portrayal, Tupac’s soul would come back and haunt him.
Singleton and Pac worked together on the 1993 film “Poetic Justice.”

The Grammy Museum’s “All Eyez on Me: The Writings of Tupac Shakur” exhibit wil run through April 22nd.
