Tupac Shakur’s cousin, William Lesane , is planning to bring the late rapper’s life to the big screen.
He has raised 15-million-dollars for his film “The Rise and Fall of Makavelli The Don.” Lesane — who wrote the screenplay — plans to shoot the film in New Mexico. He calls the film “the real Tupac Shakur story” and the film “his fans really want to see.” While there’s no word about the film’s plot, Lesane says it will be a “truly great story” combined with a “bold statement.”

Lesane’s film will compete against another Tupac biopic directed by John Singleton. Titled “Tupac,” the film has the support of Pac’s mom, Afeni Shakur. John Singleton previously worked with Tupac on the 1993 film “Poetic Justice.”
So which Tupac biopic would you prefer to see?
