According to TMZ, Ray J says he’s offering Kim Kardashian her share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift.
Ray says he’s willing to give his former girlfriend and her fiance Kanye West a check for almost $47,000, which is the amount of money he claims he made from the x-rated “Kim Kardashian Superstar” video between January and April of this year. The tape was filmed when they were dating in 2007.
According to TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, $20,097.31 in February, $9,674.76 in March, and $10,931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment – who say the tape has made an estimated $50 million to date – she is entitled to royalties at least the same as her former lover.
It is unclear as yet whether Kim – who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye – will accept the gift, but if she doesn’t, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favorite charity.
