We have just received confirmation that the Great Nelson Mandela has died. He was 95 years young. Mandela was the former South African president whose stubborn defiance landed him a 27 year stint in prison and also led to the dismantling of the country’s racist and brutal apartheid system.
Mandela was struggling health wise throughout this year with Chronic Lung infection and was hospitalized several times.
