The wedding of the year – so far – is going down shortly in South Florida between Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto.
The Jordan/Prieto matrimony is reportedly set to take place today (04-27-13) at Bethesda by the Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach — the same church that provided the setting for Donald and Melania Trump’s 2005 wedding, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Following the marriage ceremony we hear Jordan and Prieto will hold their wedding banquet and we hear that that a whopping 2,000 invites were sent out.
To accomodate those 2,000 guests, Michael and Yvette had a gigantic tent put up that measures 600 feet by 150, or two football fields, reports Jose Lambiet’s Gossip Extra.
Gossip Extra is also reporting that Usher will serenade the NBA legend and new wife tonight under that ginormous tent that crews pitched late Thursday in the backyard at the exclusive Bears Club.
“[Vendors] will get sued if they start talking about what they’re doing,” said Lambiet, revealing that the workers were required to sign confidentiality agreements.
Earlier this month, Michael Jordan explained why he’s kept a lid on the details surrounding his big day during a sit-down with ET’s Rocsi Diaz, saying, “My privacy is the most important thing to me right now.”
