Poet and novelist Maya Angelou will be in the Hoosier State later this year.
Angelou will speak at Butler University as a part of their Celebration of Diversity Distinguished Lecture Series.
The event is Tuesday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Clowes Memorial Hall.
It’s free but you need a ticket to get in. Tickets will be available to the public starting at 10 a.m. on Feb 15.
Butler started the diversity lecture series 25 years ago. Angelou was the very first speaker. She’s returning to celebrate the anniversary.
