It’s the video that’s shocking Indiana, the nation and maybe the world. Last night in the final Indiana US Senate Debate at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Republican Senate candidate Richard Mourdock uttered one of the most outragous statements this election. In explaining his views on abortion and life, Mourdock explained he only favored abortion to save the life of a mother. Then Mourdock, Indiana’s State Treasurer added the sentence that’s reverberating around the nation, “And even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape that it is something that God intended to happen.”.
