Texas Southern University’s infamous “Ocean of Soul” marching band is suspended after alleged hazing claims surfaced. University officials haven’t determined which band members were associated, but TSU spokeswoman Eva Pickens told Houston’s KTRK-TV it involved the trumpet section . As of now the entire band is under suspension.
Ocean of Soul didn’t perform during half time as scheduled for last night’s game against Sam Houston State.
This is soon after FAMU’s “Marching 100” band was eliminated after the death of a band member.
