In the December 13th issue of Jet Magazine, El DeBarge talked about everything from his 22-year drug addiction to
being the father of 12 children he barely knows with five different women.
El, spoke openly about his substance addiction and about losing one of his children to “the system” and how a second chance to have a relationship with his children is much more important to him than having a second chance at a music career.
