*Apparently, the mid-concert tumble taken by Mariah Carey in Singapore last weekend left the singer with a sprained ankle and unable to walk.
The artist, rumored to be pregnant, was photographed Tuesday at Los Angeles International Airport in a wheelchair.
As previously reported, Mimi was performing her 1992 hit “Make it Happen” during a concert last Sunday in Singapore when her stiletto shoes caused her to slip on stage.
“Mariah twisted her ankle in Singapore and should have packed more sensible shoes, but she doesn’t have any,” said her rep Cindi Berger. “I’m sending her a pair of flats today.”
After the fall, Mariah continued to sing and engage the audience as her backup dancers helped her get to her feet. She then motioned for the stage assistant to remove her heels. [See clip below.]
“Someone come out here and take these shoes off,” Carey said in the YouTube footage of the incident. She reportedly finished her 90 minute concert barefoot.
Carey laughed off the incident later Sunday via Twitter, writing: “TY SO much to my fans in Singapore!!! Yeah, several hectic moments, (lol!) but I tried to swirl them into festive! (sic)”
Two days later, paps caught her at LAX in the wheelchair.
