This is interesting. R&B singer Alicia Keys and her fiancé Swizz Beatz have their unborn baby blessed in Durban, South Africa. In a traditional Zulu ceremony the baby and Keys were given Zulu names by two priestesses while singing under a fig “healing” tree.
Keys was beautifully adorned with beads and traditional dancing and drum beats filled the air.
The audience appeared rather diverse in the background of photos. Among audience members were her brother and mother. The couple has not yet announced when the child will be born, but they will be married some time this year.
