2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is promising only to nominate Supreme Court justices that support the Roe versus Wade decision protecting abortion rights. The Vermont Independent made the statement on NBC’s Meet The Press when he said he would never appoint someone to the Supreme Court who does not believe that a woman has the right to control her own body. He also condemned a new Alabama law that will ban abortion except when there is a threat to the mother’s life.
