Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg is throwing his hat into the race for president in 2020. In a rally Sunday in his hometown of South Bend, Mayor Pete said his goal is to take the country in a new direction to start a new chapter. The 37-year-old says his goal is to represent the interests of millennial Americans. He said millennials will be on the “business end” of climate change and are left to clean up the messes that current leaders have made of health care, immigration and college costs. Buttigieg, a veteran who served in Afghanistan, hopes to become the first openly gay and youngest-ever U.S. President.
