Macaulay Culkin is defending the relationship he had with Michael Jackson.  The actor said on a podcast this week that the King of Pop took him under his wing in the early 90s, and that it was not weird because it “made sense.”  He also said Jackson knew the kinds of things he was going through because they were both famous.  Culkin and Jackson’s relationship sparked controversy because Jackson had been accused of molesting a teenage boy.  He went to trial for the alleged molestation, and was found not guilty.  There’s a new documentary called Leaving Neverland, about Jackson’s alleged sexual abuse of a pair of young boys.  It premieres at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
