Actress Cicely Tyson is officially the first black woman to win an honorary Oscar.  The 93-year-old was one of five movie veterans who received one from the Academy at the Governors Awards over the weekend.  Actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry, record producer Quincy Jones and director Ava Duvernay were there to pay tribute to her.  Tyson has been in dozens of movies and television shows over the past 60 years, including Fried Green Tomatoes, The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman, Bridge of Time, Sweet Justice and The Help.

Well done Ms. Tyson, Well done.
