Singer Demi Lovato is breaking her silence almost two weeks after an apparent drug overdose. Lovato released a statement saying she now needs time to heal and focus on her sobriety and her road to recovery. She thanked her family, team, the staff at Cedars-Sinai Hospital and also her fans. Lovato noted that she has always been transparent about her addiction and she realizes that it’s not something that can just disappear with time. The singer stressed that she will keep fighting.
