Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck was back on the practice
field with teammates on Wednesday for the first time since
undergoing right shoulder surgery in January.
Luck’s return date is still uncertain, but he was seen throwing
passes in front of the media for the first time since Week 17 of
last season.
The 28-year-old Luck, who already has been ruled out for Sunday’s
home game against the San Francisco 49ers, acknowledged he is not
fully back.
“I’ve got work to do to get to a level where I feel comfortable
going out there and whipping every throw,” Luck told reporters.
Luck offered no specifics on when he would play in a game this
season but said he is “surrounded by really good people” and “very
encouraged” with his progress.
“There’s a sense of you that feels like dead weight,” said Luck,
adding the process has been difficult.
Colts coach Chuck Pagano confirmed Luck would be out for this
week’s game and said there is no timeline for his return to game
action. Pagano said Luck will rehab his shoulder Thursday and
practice again Friday.
How many more weeks do you think it will be until Andrew Luck is back ?
