President-elect Donald Trump and his incoming administration are in full crisis reaction mode ahead of today’s first –and later than usual– meeting with the press this morning at 11 a.m. at Trump Tower in New York. What’s got him in a snit? Unconfirmed reports were recently released that detail some of the new leader’s alleged salacious connections with Russia and go the next step reporting that the Russians gathered compromising information about him. Blackmail-worthy info, from the report that includes a point where Trump allegedly booked the presidential suite at the Moscow Ritz-Carlton Hotel where he knew President and Mrs. Obama had stayed during an official Russian trip and during his stay he spent time, “defiling the bed where they had slept by employing a number of prostitutes to perform a ‘golden shower’ show in front of him.” The term ‘golden shower’ refers to urination.

The President-elect ‘flew off the Twitter handle’ and took to social media saying this is a “political witch hunt” and while not directly referencing those reports, called them “fake news.”

Late Night with Seth Meyers - Season 4

Trump’s incoming White House counselor Kellyann Conway was booked on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” at the right time to be questioned about this breaking news. She told Meyers on Tuesday the allegations against Trump are unverified.

CNN reported that intelligence officials briefing Trump last week, showed him claims that Russian operatives had damaging information about him. The briefing included allegations that the Trump campaign exchanged information with Russian intermediaries. Those reports of personal and financial info collected on Trump were also provided to President Barack Obama.  Read them for yourself… Buzzfeed  has published the reports by the person who claims to be a former British intelligence official (MI-6), which you can find HERE. Again, the reports at this time are unverified and Buzzfeed says they contain a few errors.

Trump is likely to face questions about these reports and others on Russia during Wednesday morning’s press conference along with other questions about his Cabinet picks and plans to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

Other Trump Reactions on Twitter:

(“…a great ‘movement'”…we want to know what he means by that and want the question to be raised during the press conference. Movement?)
