Sterling K. Brown is most known for his portrayal as Christopher Darden in “The People vs. OJ Simpson”. But even if you didn’t watch the brilliantly cast series, the actor, excuse us, Emmy award winning actor (he took home the trophy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie) recalls the exact feeling felt when they called his name.
“It truly was an out of body experience. I feel like my soul left and was flying on top of me. A lot of people said I was a favorite, but everybody in my category was worthy.”
He talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about his epic speech that sampled a popular Jay Z verse and his new role on NBC’s This Is Us.
“You have four people that share the same birthday and it turns out their commonalities go beyond having the same birthday and we figure it out at the end of the pilot. It’s going to pull at your heart strings a little bit,.”
