Our resident “Legal Eagles” spent some time with me on “Access Indy with Kim Wells” Sunday to go Behind The Headlines on the tragedies that gripped our nation this week…the police-action shootings of two black men this week, one in Baton Rouge, Louisiana whose name was Alton Sterling and the other a motorist in a suburb of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, Philando Castile; and the killings of five police officers at the hands of a sniper after peaceful protests in Dallas, Texas regarding the aforementioned killings. That sniper also shot seven others. Tragic all around and the legal implications may be wide and deep.
Indianapolis legal power-house husband and wife duo, Attorney KiKi Gaither of the Law Office of KiKi Gaither and Judge Geoffrey Gaither, Magistrate, Marion County Juvenile Superior Court spent some time with me to provide legal and other analysis of these incidents, and what moves we may expect.
