A program that helps feed students over the summer is now officially underway. The Summer Servings Meal Program began Wednesday at more than 200 sites in Marion County.  The program provides meals to children 18 years and younger at no cost.  Wayne Township School Superintendent Jeff Butts says it can be difficult for some students to find nutritious meals when they are out of school so this program is a terrific opportunity for his district’s children to not only get a nutritious meal but also for school staff and faculty to continue to interact with the students throughout the Summer months. The website to find the various locations of the feeding program is SummerServings.org. Click the website name and we’ll take you right to it so your children can be fed at a location convenient to your family.
