Daisy Lewellyn, at age 36 lost her fight with cancer. She was many things, a tv star, an author, and fashion guru. She also worked as an editor for InStyle, Glamour and Essence magazine. We are inspired by her attitude and upbeat lifestyle despite her diagnosis. She will be dearly missed.

After teasing the world on social media, Maxwell finally releases a brand new single “Lake By The Ocean”. It’s the first single of his new album “blackSUMMERS’night” Meaxwell said about the song “Heartbreak is always at the core of most of the things I write. [Lake By The Ocean] is about a vast unfettered love deeply connected to the intimacy one is able to share with another after a time of great struggle and betrayal.

Today in Brooklyn, New York N.W.A will be inducted into the 31st class of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Kendrick Lamar will be performing to pay tribute to the influential group. Ice Cube said, “But we’re totally honored, humbled and appreciative to the Hall for even just considering us, inducting us and inviting us.”
