Lark Voorhies has filed for divorce from Jimmy Green.
The former Saved By The Bell star secretly wed the the music engineer in April. The couple reportedly met at a networking event in 2014.
Their whirlwind romance was met with hesitation. Lark’s mother Patricia Voorhies was against their relationship. Earlier this year, she filed a restraining order against Jimmy following an alleged disagreement.
Jimmy claims, Lark’s mother is to blame for their breakup and that she’s been a “nightmare” since the beginning of their union.
In July, Lark defended her marriage in a bizarre sit-down with Entertainment Tonight.
“We’re the same as any other couple out there that’s in love and trying to accomplish business together. It’s not a scam or a way to get money,” she said.
