The Mozel Sanders Foundation’s Thanksgiving dinner program began as a way to give families a “hand up” – to provide a nutritious meal and bring families hope during the holidays. It began with a handful of volunteers who served 20 meals to the hungry in Indianapolis. Today, the foundation is well-known throughout Indiana as a leader in the fight against hunger.
During the Thanksgiving day holiday the foundation distributes over 35,000 meals to those in need. The Mozel Sanders Foundation accomplishes this by preparing meals from Butler University, their main hub, and from over 39 satellite sites around Indianapolis. There are over 2,000 volunteers who help in preparing, packaging, and delivering meals to those in need.

The 2015 Mozel Sanders Radiothon will take place at Lafayette Square Mall and Circle Centre Mall on Friday, November 13th and Saturday, November 14th from 10am-9pm.
