Researchers are close to developing a blood test that can detect the presence of Alzheimer’s Disease in the body. New findings show the blood test can detect Alzheimer’s long before symptoms show up. Scientists at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine say the test would give physicians an opportunity to treat the disease at the earliest stage which can be critical. The lead researcher said early detection is so critical because steps can be taken to slow the progression of the disease.
