BET Experience and Make a Wish at LA. Live Red Carpet Arrivals- Weekend Events

Rapstress Nicki Minaj took us all by surprise when she called out Miley Cyrus while accepting an award during the MTV Video Music Awards in August. Many wondered if her remarks were staged. Now, Minaj is addressing the clash in a recent interview with the New York Times. ‘‘The fact that you feel upset about me speaking on something that affects black women makes me feel like you have some big balls. You shouldn’t not want to know that.’’ The comments stem from a statement Cyrus made about Minaj, suggesting she be “nicer” when discussing race and discrimination. Read more.

No one will be ‘dropping’ by my house uninvited without (acknowledgment),” a comment from a user name that was linked back to Harper read. The shooter’s father, Ian Mercer, claims his views on guns are completely different from Harper’s. “I’m a great believer (in) you don’t buy guns, don’t buy guns, you don’t buy guns.” Read more.
