Dr. Dre’s “Compton: A Soundtrack” is killing it on the U.K. albums chart.  The project, which follows the film “Straight Outta Compton” has already earned the number one spot on the Official Chart Update.  Not only that, but according to the Official U.K. Charts Company, the album is currently outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined. As for back at home, according to Hits Daily Double, Dre’s third (and final) studio album is projected to move between 260,000 and 275,000 copies. The estimated figures will reportedly put Dre on track to pull in the No. 2 album on the Billboard 200 charts, echoing the No. 2 debut of his previous album Chronic 2001, which sold 516,000 copies in its first week back in 1999.   This is Dre’s first album in the last 16 years.
