NBA superstar Kevin Durant may have just given everyone a hint as to where he may be heading when he hits the free agent market.

In a recent interview with Revolt TV, KD said, “I love it here, man. I love my teammates, I love the city, I don’t really think about anywhere else.” He added, “I’m one of those guys that would love to stick it out with one team my whole career.”

That is the biggest hint he has given since the “Kevin Durant sweepstakes” hoopla began. While he stated he wants to have his jersey retired with the Thunder, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he will re-sign with OKC.

There are rumors that Russell Westbrook may be headed to the L.A. Lakers to meet up with former UCLA Bruin Kevin Love.

If that rumor comes to fruition, it could affect Durant’s decision.

“You never know what the future holds sometimes and how teams may feel about you after a while, but I love it here and I would love to get my jersey retired here,” he stated in the interview with Revolt TV.

The Washington Wizards is a good fit

KD is a Washington D.C. native (and has always expressed his love for his hometown), and he could choose to go home. The Wizards have an interesting core and feature a straight up stud in John Wall. KD would make the Wizards title contenders instantly.

We’re only in the beginning of 2015, but the 2016 free agency is already nuts. Let the games begin.
