“Straight Outta Compton” executive producer Will Packer is talking up the N.W.A. biopic. In an interview with “Collider,” Packer promises that the film is “gonna deliver” for fans of the pioneering West Coast rap group. He also says a wider audience will also enjoy the film because it’s a “great American uprising story.” While the film is still being worked on, former N.W.A member Ice Cube showed off the first trailer during a concert in Australia last month. Packer says he loves that the trailer is out and that it’s getting a positive response from fans.
